Hi, I'm Meg, an illustrator based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I've always been fascinated by how strange the ordinary can feel if you look at it long enough; a desk, a cup of tea, a breeze through a window. My work starts with these everyday subjects and pushes them somewhere just a bit surreal; a shift in scale, a floating object, a color that shouldn't quite belong but does.
I paint in bold, bright color because I want that dreamlike quality to feel alive, not muted. My goal is to make you pause on something familiar and see it a little differently.
